1995<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Master’s program established. The first degree-offering program in TCSL in Taiwan.<\/p>

2003<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Ph.D. program established.<\/p>

2007\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Department of Chinese Language and Culture for International Students established. The first undergraduate program in Taiwan to admit only international students.<\/p>

2007\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Master’s program of Overseas Chinese Education and Studies established<\/p>

2012\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Graduate Institute of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language and Department of Chinese Language and Culture for International Students were merged to become Department of Chinese as a Second Language.<\/p>

2012\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Master’s program of Overseas Chinese Education and Studies established was merged in Department of Applied Chinese Language and Culture.<\/p>

2017\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Department of Chinese as a Second Language and Department of Applied Chinese Language and Culture were merged in the name of Department of Chinese as a Second Language.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Now Department of Chinese as a Second Language features two programs for bachelor degrees, Program of Chinese Language and Culture for International Students and Program of Applied Chinese Language and Culture, a Master\u2019s program, a Ph.D program and several cross-disciplinary programs, including Program of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, Program of Bilingual Education for Children, Online Master\u2019s Program for Chinese Teachers Abroad.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
